USS Hornet is considered one of the most haunted places in the U.S. The Ship is currently docked and was
commissioned in 1943 at the height of the war in the Pacific. Some of the hauntings and activity include
various objects on board the massive ship being moved from one location to another. Doors that are
extremely heavy and take a lot of effort to move, have strangely opened and closed with no assistance
from any type of physical source. Many apparitions have been witnessed dressed in soldier attire working
among the living in and on the ship, as if they were still alive. In addition to this, many have reported that
they feel as if they have been touched and/or grabbed by an unseen person on the ship. In some cases,
the person was actually pushed, and when they look to see who pushed them, there is no one there.

The Phoenix Food Boutique Incorporated is a family owned and operated business established in 1965. The
original property was built in 1923, and renovated in 1947 and is over 19,000 square feet. An Asian
female, 60 to 70 years of age, wearing a restaurant style uniform, white shirt and black pants has been
seen wandering the restaurant. The ghost often goes in and out of the kitchen and is also seen walk
silently around the entire dining room and sitting at various tables. It is said the ghost observes patrons
while they look over the menu and order their food, then admires fondly the food eaten by the guests.
This haunting is relatively well know, probably because it is such an unique tale, and has been written about
in several local food and restaurant guides in Los Angeles, Ca.

Ramona Convent School:
Ramona Convent Secondary School; All female Catholic school was founded in 1889. Eight sisters from the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary church
came from Oakland via boat to establish the convent. A lot of the reports and ghost stories are reported by students, and the faculty is reluctant
to speak. There has been reported of the paranormal, such as the ghost of a white nun that has been seen throughout the 15 acre campus. On
occasion there is the sound of a few keys of a piano being played. Another claim is that one of the students accidentally drowned in the school
campus pool. Students were reporting the sensation of tugging on bathing suits and clothes from underwater.
-The story of the accidental drowning in the pool is in dispute. We at MoreThanHorror have researched and been unable to produce a name or
date for the victim. Some of the reports say it was a "near drowning." But we have been unable to prove or disprove.
